On February 7, 2020 approximately seventy (70) students from grade 6 at Stephen Dillet Primary School and their teacher Ms Dezree Taylor visited the Criminal Court of the Honourable Justice Mr. Bernard S. A. Turner. Ms Taylor said this semester the students are learning about court systems in The Bahamas. She felt that the students would benefit positively from sitting in an actual courtroom and conversing with a judge giving credence to her statement that “knowledge is power, but experience is even more powerful.” She was extremely grateful after the visit to the Honourable Justice Turner who gave the students a tour of the court and patiently answered every question.
